Espresso Martini

The Espresso Martini is one of our most popular cocktails served at every event. Whether it’s a wedding, 21st birthday, ball or party they seem to enjoyed by everyone! They are the perfect after dinner cocktail!

As well as being popular it’s also simple to make!

A traditional Espresso Martini is made by combining equal measures of vodka, kahlua and espresso coffee. However, you can change the ingredients to suit your taste: gin, rum, tequila, baileys, etc.

How to Make:

Add equal amounts (usually 25 ml) of vodka, kahlua, espresso and ice to your cocktail shaker (a jam jar works just as well) and shake! The longer you shake the better the result so shake away!!

Strain (using a sieve) into your martini glass and ENJOY!

Moscow Mule

Moscow Mule’s are very refreshing and great for a summers days. There’s no need for a cocktail shaker for this one.

TIP: The more fiery the ginger beer is, the better!

How to Make:

Add 50 ml of vodka and a good squeeze of lime juice to a long glass filled with ice. Top with your fiery ginger beer and a slice of lime ……….VOILA!

English Garden

Inspired by a typical English Garden this cocktail is best served with a sprig of mint of a wedge of apple. Like the Moscow Mule it is the perfect cocktail to serve at a garden party as you can pre make it in a jug/kilner jar.

Ingredients:
  • 30ml Gin
  • 25ml Elderflower Cordial
  • Cloudy Apple Juice
How to Make:

Nothing too technical…add your gin and elderflower cordial to a glass filled with ice and top with cloudy apple juice! Add the garnish of your choice and ENJOY!

Goombay Smash

This cocktail is inspired by the sun, sea and sand of The Bahamas so you may not be surprised to learn that it is a very boozy rum based cocktail.

You will need 2 types of rum: gold rum (dark rum works well if you can’t find golden rum) and coconut rum (malibu) and peach schnapps (archers).

This cocktail doesn’t need shaking and is really easy to make (even easier to drink).

Ingredients:
  • 50ml gold (dark) rum
  • 25 ml coconut rum
  • 7ml peach schnapps
  • Squeeze of Lime Juice
  • Pineapple Juice
How to Make:

Simply add all the ingredients to a tall glass with ice and top with Pineapple Juice….. Easy Peasy!

This is another great cocktail to serve at a garden party as it can be batch made! Careful that people don’t have too many as it really sneaks up on you! 🙂
